Ohio now welcomes another sports betting brand with WynnBet securing market access while the state prepares to legalize sports betting by mid-2021, Gov. Mike DeWine hopes.
WynnBet’s Footprint in the US Continues to Grow
WynnBET is continuing to grow its clout on the sports betting market in the United States, with the app securing a fresh entry into Ohio. Ohio has enjoyed significant interest from stakeholders who are hopeful that legislation should arrive in the state by mid-2021 as confirmed by Gov. Mike DeWine most recently.
Now, Wynn Resorts’ flagship sports betting brand is the latest to secure entry rights, which is an eighth state for the brand. This comes shortly after WynnBet debuted in Iowa last week. The company is now pending a launch in Michigan, with the Great Lakes State launching its online sports betting at noon today.
Meanwhile, WynnBet remains available in New Jersey and Colorado as some of its main markets, and it has already secured access to Massachusetts, Iowa, Indiana, and Nevada. It’s also pending license approvals in Tennessee and Virginia.
Legalization Efforts Continues with Focus on Mobile
With some 22 states in the United States currently discussing and debating sports betting legislation, WynnBet has been actively looking to secure ties in new jurisdictions across the country. The company is trying to catch up to rivals such as BetMGM, FanDuel and DraftKings.
The WynnBet app in the meantime makes sure that customers receive the quality experience they deserve. Ohio has seen a string of companies vying for a market-entry so far with casinos and racinos already clocking in solid results. WynnBet will still have to wait until the state has 7BALL approved its legislation and launched sports betting officially.
The company hopes that Ohio will enable mobile sports betting from the start allowing the brand to bring online its dedicated mobile betting solutions.
