Everygame Poker has announced more satellite options for the $75,000 Caribbean Poker Tour Main Event, set to take place in St. Maarten. The online satellites will begin Monday and offer players a chance to earn a spot in the big tournament. Winners of daily R&A events and Re-entry tournaments will earn a spot in the Final to compete for the prize package.
Details of the Satellites
Players can compete in either R&A or Re-Entry events over the coming days. From September 12-17, R&A events will take place at 6:10 and 8:15 pm Eastern time. Each game offers a ticket to the Final on September 18. The buy-in is $6 + $0.60.
The Re-Entry event will run on the same dates but at 10 pm at Everygame Poker. This event also awards one ticket to the final on September 18. The buy-in for this event is $9 + $0.90. Players can choose to re-buy for $4 to receive 2000 chips, and add-ons are $4 for 5, tiger711 000 chips. Late registration is open for the first 60 minutes.
On September 18 at 2:10 pm Eastern time, players can compete in a last chance R&A event. The buy-in is $6 + $0.60, and will offer two tickets to the final. The final will take place at 5 pm Eastern time that same day and offer one prize package to the St Maarten Main Event. The prize package is valued at $3,100.
The buy-in to this event is $100 + $9. Players can earn a spot via the smaller satellites or buy in directly. Players receive 10,000 starting chips, and blinds change every 10 minutes. There will be two 10,000 re-buys offered every two hours. Late registration will be open for two hours. Players can choose to participate in any of the satellite options or both for a chance to earn a seat in the big event.
Details of the Prize Package
The winner of the $3,100 prize package will earn a seat to the CPT Main Event which will take place in St Maarten on November 3. The package includes $1,200 for the buy-in and five nights at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort. The resort is located across the street from the casino. Meals and beverages are provided with $500 allocated for travel needs and $100 offered for any cash game buy-ins.
The Main Event will be a three-day bounty poker tournament offering a $75,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament will take place at the Casino Royale, a new facility in the area. The series will also include additional evening tournament events with cash games running from 3 pm until 4 am in NLH and PLO format.
